ABYSS DIVE CENTER is a PADI 5 star dive center situated in the city of PAFOS, Island of CYPRUS.(PADI store no: s-3726)

Sun is very generous here and in the summer the temperature can rise up to 40 degrees C. Cyprus is a very popular tourist destination.

With 15 years of experience and an outstanding safety record, ABYSS is a quite popular dive center not only for holiday makers but for the locals too.

Abyss holds a sales shop in the main beach avenue of PAFOS to Coral BAY area. We promote Technomar, Spetton, MARES, SPORASUB, Technisub, SUUNTO, US DIVERS, TUSA, BEACHAT, SCUBAPRO, OMER, CRESSI and other known brands. Abyss also operates 2 dive resorts by the beach at CYNTHIANA and ATLANTICA hotels. We also cooperate with ALEXANDER the GREAT beach hotel, KEFALOS Beach hotel, Posidonion Gym Centre and HELIOS BAY beach hotel.

WHAT IS THE INTERNSHIP COURSE?
It involves taking divers from any level up to the professional levels.
Prices are in Euros:

Open Water Diver to Divemaster1300 ( 4-5 weeks )
Advanced Open Water Diver to Divemaster950 ( 3-4 weeks )
Rescue Diver to Divemaster750 ( 2-3 weeks )
Assistant Instructor course450

(Please check with us for course level equivalency if you have completed courses with other organizations).

The internship course offers free accommodation in large, fully equipped apartments rented by Abyss. Lunch and dinner is also provided free in the hotels we cooperate with. All PADI costs are included in the price advertised except PADI books and PADI material (slates etc). All students are allowed to use ABYSS equipment until they finish their training. There are employment possibilities upon successful completion of the program.
Divers have to complete the Open Water, Advanced and Rescue courses before they can actually start with the Divemaster course.

Minimum age limit before completing the Divemaster course is 18 y.o

We call it an Internship course, because it gives to the trainees the opportunity to observe the instructors and divemasters working with/diving/teaching real customers. That way they have the opportunity to implement skills & attitudes not only learnt in the course but also seen put into practice by other professionals.
